Step after arriving on IR5 visa

Hi,

My mother came today from India on IR5 visa, same was stamped on the passport.

So what is next step to get GreenCard. Will that come by itself after few days or is there any process/application to be submitted.

On your DS-230 form, there was a section where they asked would you like to apply for social security number and would you like your information to be shared with the Department of Homeland security, and if you answered Yes to that question, I think they send it to you by post mail (both SSN and greencard) within a month. That was the case for me, i don't know if that changed recently or not. They even ask for the address where they should send those things.

I did check mark those options, but not sure about the address. Likely US address, but then I will wait for 3 to 4 weeks and then check.
