Marrying US citizen

Hi,

I am 21 years old and I am currently a British citizen. However my girlfriend lives in Miami and I would like to immigrate there.

Obviosly I cannot just move there because that would be illegal but I would still like to live and work in America.

I just wanted to know what I would need to do in order to gain a visa and to get a job and a liscence to work in America and if you can point me in the direction and how to get to live and build a life in America.

I would really like to do this asap so please can you help me.
