My father's brother filed petition for my father and his family (my mother, my sister and me) in 1982.
The petition got matured in 1991. My father took his immigration in 1992.
When my mother, my sister and I appeared for the interview in 1993, my sister's immigration was denied on the basis of her existing spastic quadri-pledgia medical condition and that she is likely to be a public charge.
We were unable to arrange for substantial financial support before my sister turned 21.
I took my immigration in 2002 as I was turning 21.
My mother stayed in India for my sister's well being and my father maintained both the establishments to keep his GC alive.
My father passed away in 2003. Last year my sister also passed away.
Original petitioner (my uncle) is still alive.
Would the immigration visa for my mother be still valid if my father has died?
Any information shall be highly appreciated.
Thank you,
Raghav
