  • Family Based greencard, question,

My older brother and his wife are US citizens. My brother applied for my other brother's greencard on 2006 which we were told is going to take about 10 years to be approved. But my older brother and his wife applied for GC for "her" mom, brother, married sister, husband and a daughter of the married sister on 2008 Sept. We were all very surprised to see that these secondly mentioned peoples' application have been approved in Jan 2009 but no word from the previous application for my other brother. I would like to know what do you think is the reason and is there anyone else who had the same experience???? Quite puzzled, please help.
People from both application live outside of USA.

I am both surprised on both results. Your other brother should get a quicker result and your brothers wifes family should have the longer time coz their status was more complicated with married, in-laws and so on.

    How did this happend?
