No response from USCIS

I've applied for GC for my mom in July 2008. I'm a citizen. Her finger printing was over soon after we applied (around August time frame). Since then there is no response.

I check their website everyday. No change in status. It is more than 6 months.

I tried calling them. It is a mystery to reach the human operator. I couldn't find a way to talk to one.

Anybody knows what to do ?

Anybody know the quickest way to reach a live operator at USCIS??!!

Most of the automated information doesn't correspond with what they have online, e.g. fees info for I-751...

I guess you tried this number before 1-800-375-5283 one year ago I did talk to a live operator ...I have no idea maybe things have been changed. I don't know for sure but my call to USCIS was made within the USA . I tried calling them from the country where I live and could not get them...maybe that's why ??? Like I said I'm not sure ...only trying to help you.

I would suggest writing a detailed letter to the USCIS about your case. I find they will respond to written queries.

for POUTA the fees for I-751 are $ 465.00 and for biometric $ 80.00 you can write one check for both, total $ 545.00 payable to U.S. Department of Homeland Security don't use USDHS
