need 30 days to stay at home country?

hello,

my wife is a us citizen & would like to apply i-130 for me. we are very familiar with the steps but would like to ask regarding my situation.

im staying outside of my home country for work (for 4years before we got married). I would eventually go back home when the NVC give me an immigrant visa number... (immidiate relatve-no priority date)

my question is: am i required to stay on my home country for certain number of days before i can start my consular processing?
