  • USC petition for brother with new wife

My friend is a US Citizen and has petitioned for her brother. Years before the I-130 approval notice, her brother divorced his wife and got remarried. Now that the USC received the approval notice, it has the ex wife listed not the new wife. What can we do to change this. Do we just notify USCIS with new marrage certificate and proof of divorce?

    Please advise

Once a visa number is issued to him and he is called for an interview, they will ask him for all the changes which happend in those passed few years. He can show them the divorce and and the marriage certificates then.

Daru786 - is there any documentation that needs to be filed... my cousin is pretty much in the same situation only, he was not married when the application was filed, but now he is and wants to include his wife in the petition so that she can receive her green card here as well. What forms would need to be filed for that?
