  • Question # 22 in I-130

Question # 22 starts: Complete the information below if your relative is in the United States and will apply for adjustment of status.

This is true. So I filled out part of this section.

The first question the form asks is: Your relative is in the United States and will apply for adjustment of status to that of a lawful permanent resident at the USCIS office in:

Here, I wrote where she will apply for adjustment of status.

However, I'm stuck on the next part . . .

Question: If your relative is not eligible for adjustment of status, he or she will apply for a visa abroad at the American consular post in:

At first, I left this blank, as to my knowledge my wife is eligible to apply for adjustment of status. But now I'm thinking, maybe they are asking if (in the opinion of USCIS) she is not eligible, where she will apply for adjustment of status???

Should I leave this section blank, or should I put in the name of the embassy in her country?

Thank you for your time and help in this regard.
