  • Help with form I-130

    Hello everyone
I'm filling out the I-130, and question 14, it asks for the arrival date. Here's my situation: I came to the U.S. for the first time in 2001 as a student. For different circumstances, I lost my status and had to leave the U.S, go back to my country and get a new visa. I got a 4-year student visa, and I came back in August 2002. I've gone back to visit my family a couple of times, and the last time, I came back in January 2005. Which date is then my arrival date? Is it the first time I came in 2001, or the second time in 2002, or my last date of entry into the U.S (Jan. 2005)?
Also, with question 14, it says " Date authorized stay expired, or will expire as shown on Form I-94 or I-95." After my four-year student visa, I got another one for two years to do my master's. Now I'm towards the end of my OPT. My I-94 got lost, and I had to apply to get a new one. In the I-94 I have, there's no date. Which date are they asking for in this question? Expiration of my OPT?
    Thanks a lot!!

    1. Your last entry to US (the stamp on your I-94)
    2. What is on your replacement I-94? F-1? then "Duration of Stay"
