Hello all,
This website has been a great help to me over the past year or so that I've been in this process.
We submitted our 1-130 a while ago, with a receipt date of December 10th 2008. We are expecting a response within the next month or so (thinking positively based on processing times, lol) and I would just like to have a general idea of what additional papers/docs my Venezuelan husband may need to bring or send to the embassy in Caracas... I know he'll need a medical clearance, and that will have to be done with a specified physician, but what else?
He'll need a police clearance from everywhere he lived since the age of 16 I understand... We can't find anything like that here in Venezuela, and if it exists it will take forever to get considering the current state of bureaucracy here... but we do already have a national police clearance. Does that work?? What kind of validity must this have? Ie 6 months from the interview, etc.?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Lexi
