Status of Parents?

Hi There,

I am a US citizen and have filed a family based petition for my parents. I have filed both I-130 and I-485 together. I sent in the petion today (05/18/09) and my parents I-94 is valid till June 14th. Can they legally continue to reside in the US in case we dont hear back from INS by june 14th?

Yes. Actually, they should not leave the country until they get their AP or the actual greencard.
