Received AP... What will be the next step?
Hi,
I have H1B approval notice with me which is valid till Yr 2011, but the visa expired last year.
I am married to a citizen through whom my I-485 is pending and I was finger printed on April 20th. They had some query about my DoB and relevant information was provided to them after that the status for I 485 on USCIS website says that they have resumed processing my case. For I 130 the status is “No information till now”
I just received 2 copies of my advance parole(AP). My EAD is also approved and the status on USCIS website says they ordered the CARD and It will be mailed in 30 days.
Now my questions:
1. If I go to India now, can I use the advance parole, or would I need to get the H1 stamped to come back to US.
2. Is there any interview process involved in this. Since my green card is through a citizen spouse, will I be interviewed? If yes, when do they call for interview and what questions do they generally ask?
3. Generally how much time it takes after you get your AP.
