Concurrent I-130 & I-485 under F3 - guidance needed
Hi,
1> I am citizen of India.
2> My dad is a US Citizen and he is my sponsor.
3> I am over 21 & Married.
4> I am in US on Non-immigrant (H4) visa.
Can he fill I-130 & I-485 (AOS) concurrently for me?
If yes, what are the advantages of it? And what would be the risk factors?
What would be approximate timeline?
(I know, after filling I-130 we receive Case Number from NVC in 2 yrs mentioning, Visa number is not available due to yearly visa number limitation. But do we have to wait for visa number, if we are already in US on non-immigrant visa? Can Concurrent filling of I-130 & I-485 be escape door from 8 yrs of Wait for GC?)
