Hello,
I have a friend that I am trying to find information for. Here is her scenario:
She was 9 years old when she was brought to the USA from Peru under political asylum granted to her father. Her father brought his wife, herand one of her sister. Four years later, her father passed away. hermother moved the family back to Peru. Within a year, her mother moved she back to the USA.
She has since earned a high school degree and successfully perused a bachelor's degree in business. She is unable to move on with a normal life due to the fact she can not get a driver's license and/or a social security card in order to work.
My question is, what options does she have and if she pursues those options will she be deported? She is currently 27 years old and has lived in the USA since she was 9 years old.
