  • GC processing time for married son on H1B

    Hello to all members,

We are USA Citizens. We have two sons and both are on H1B (One married/Other Un-Married) and staying here in USA with us. My Question is,

If I file Green Card (I130) for both of my son, what will be the processing time as they are in USA itself on H1B,

One son is married and current status is H1B and staying in USA

Other son is un-married and currently staying in US on H1B.

Will it go under normal processing time OR will it take priority because they are already in USA on H1B?

What would be processing time for both of my Son to get Green Card?

Any reply will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance,

    GMG

It will be some time before receiving GCs for your kids if you applied today. The time frame is anywhere from 7-10 years and there will be no difference as to their physical locations. My recommendation is for them to try to get their GC through their employers. This way the waiting time is shorter, however at the end you know what is best for them.
I am in F3 category myself with Sep. 2001 priority date and still waiting for my PD to become current.
