Where do you live Tabby, I live in Jakarta, Indonesia. It seems that you are more advanced in the process. Mine with the PD 5 May 2013 have not received the IV invoice. I mean my brother in law has not received it. We should have the case no. and the IV invoice number to enter in order to have on line access right?. My brother in laws said. Tte AOS payment is already cashed by NVC but the IV invoice has not come yet.

          Thanks,

          Frank

Thanks Tabby for sharing your experience. Did NVC allow you to call them?, Last time I tried to call them but they said on Petitioner/my father in law that can call them. So at that time, my father in law with my sister in law called them. My father in law is quite old, so I appointed in the COA my brother in law who also lives in California as my agent. Should I ask my brother in law to call them?. Yes I also have a son whose age is already outage last July 2013. I am still don't know if my brother in law should send a letter to NVC applying for CSPA.

              Thanks,

              Frank

              Hi Pike,

I read on the Immigration to US website, we should not send the civil document until they asked us to do so. We have to send the orginal and will return them all to us at the time of interview at consulate office. What is experience did they already ask you to send the civil documents?

Ok Tabby, I will try to call them, but I am the husband of the principal applicant. I think it would be better if she calls them, but has problem in English. I do not know if it is a toll free, if so, I will use my skype to call them. Do you have their phone number? We should tell them our case number right?. What time is the best time to call them

                  Thanks so much,

                  Frank

Hi Frank, sorry for the late reply. ( I did not have a chance to log in earlier)

Yes, I have opted in for the electronic processing, so I submitted the DS (260) online and printed off what is called "Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration Application Confirmation".

Now on this confirmation letter it states your "Next Steps"

                        1. Obtain and submit required supporting civil documents.
                        2. Obtain and submit photographs that meet the Dept. Of State's visa requirements.
                        3. Review the information specific to U.S Embassy/Consulate General where your visa interview will occur.

Then it further states: If you have not already collected and submitted the required documents to NVC then you should do so at this time.

Thanks Pike for your information. I have a question on Civil Document, yes I uderstand that it should be in English, but should we send the original to NVC or we can send the soft copy via on line?

                          Thanks and Regards,

                            • Hello everyone,

My brother in law in California, asked me the paper to indicate the date of my Case approval. Anyone can help how can we get to the Note saying that your case is approved on such a such a date?. Last time I can see that note on this \:

but now on my case it just saying the last change in my address since I have notified them that my address was changed.

my question is how can we go the previous case status' note, because my brother wants to ask the lawyer how can we apply for the CSPA, the lawyer asked the proof of Petition's approval. I remember the date, but my brother said lawyer need a proof.

                              Thanks for any ideas,

                              Frank
