A question to all who received welcome letters...will the NVC case status change once they send the welcome letter?

A question to all who received welcome letters...will the NVC case status change once they send the welcome letter?

all cases receive welcome letter but some receive 1 year ago from pd.some case 6 month but time length different

A question to all who received welcome letters...will the NVC case status change once they send the welcome letter?

The NVC case number/status remains unchanged;

Receiving 'Welcome Letter' is the beginning of Immigrant visa process because one receives Invoice Identification Number in this letter;

If one's email ID is registered with the NVC one may receive this 'Welcome Letter' faster than the mails (post).

One has to follow the six defined steps of the visa process as per the instructions provided;

One need to be prompt for the speedy completion of this visa process;

At the end one receives process completion letter/email; then wait for the PD to become current;

One may receive Interview call letter from the concerned US consulate 45-60 days ahead of PD becomming current;

Please also check with www.nvc.state.gov
