I'm really worried because our petition was approved almost immediately. It was approved December 15, 1992, less than 3 weeks after our PD. Therefore, I won't benefit at all from CSPA.

I'm gonna turn 21 on March 2013. Do you think it's highly unlikely for our November 29, 1992 PD to be current for F3 - Philippines by that time?

The beneficiary (is it your father or mother), or the sponsor (your grandparent) can write NVC and ask about expedite due to age-out. I'm not sure though if it can be done but there's no harm in trying. Good luck. Keep us updated.

When did your grandmother/grandfather or lawyer or choice of Agent submit the DS-230 form (part I) for your family?

If you don't know what the DS-230 form is then Google it. After that ask whoever it is that submitted this document to NVC which EXACT month this happened.

We submitted DS-230 October of 2010. The retrogression happened December of 2010.

If NVC received your family's package (with DS-230 etc) before late November early December 2010 then your age should be frozen at about 19 yrs olds. If I'm mistaken someone please correct me. Keyboard read up on CSPA yourself and or ask you grandfather to get advice from a lawyer on the topic.

Also as originally said by *mtouch*, you can try the expedite suggestion if you and your family want to make use of ALL options. I got this in an auto response once when I emailed the US Embassy.

Child turning 21:

If any dependent child will turn 21 soon, please notify the US Embassy immediately. While it is not a guarantee, that your child will be able to accompany you, the case will receive expedited review to determine if you child qualifies to immigrate as your dependent.

FYI, My brother went back for fingerprinting on July 22, and got his visa the next day. He has already arrived in the US.

we have to submit fresh passport clearence and police clearence, i dont know anything about tax papers, wat to do ??

In my brother's and another relative's case, New Delhi Embassy did not ask for police clearance. They ONLY asked for Passport Clearance Certificate. So you donot have to spend money on police clearance certificates. If your petitioner/sponsor did not provide Year 2011 Tax Papers (FORM 1040) to NVC, then you need to take these papers with you to the interview. If there is an additional sponsor, then you also need YEAR 2011 Tax paper's from the co-sponsor.

thanks Dhira for your answer , actually we have submitted tax papers in the year 2010 , when we submitted ds230 and other civil docs. One more thing , have they asked for new ds230 from your relatives??????

Since your parents have not submitted latest year ( TY 2011) Tax Return, So CO will be asking you for the TY 2011 Tax return.
