Before you leave and if you have time, I would like your take and other members opinions on the following

I have a few questions about some parts of the I-864:-

Q 1. In Part 1, As I am the petitioner so I will be filling out I-864 and to support my sister is going to fill out I-864A. So in Part 1, do I check box "a" or do I check box "e" - being one for me and another tick for my sister.?

Q 2. In Part 5, it says DO NOT COUNT ANYONE TWICE. In Part 5, 21 c do I enter 01 as I am married. If I do that then my spouse will be counted twice - once in 21 a and second time in 21 c? as I am sponsoring my spouse who is not part of my household in the US and lives out of US at present. Any suggestions.

Hello Visjig, I am sorry but I am totally confused on your present status. I do not know if you are the applicant or the petitioner. As I remember, you said that you are in F2A and petitioned by your wife and now you are saying that you are sponsoring your spouse. Applicants (beneficiaries) do not fill out I-864 forms. This form is strictly for the petitioner (individual that petitions for your immigrant visa or Green Card), your wife in your case, and does not concern the applicant. Do you plan to assist your sponsor by your own personal assets?

Call NVC and speak to an operator. They could help u get the AOS
and IV fee bill. Call today bcoz they wont be open till July 5(long holiday weekend).Have ur NVC CASE# ready.Good luck

my dad and i are not in the US, my mom and sis are and they passed their return date. we also have a lawyer in US who is on the case, bt no indications were made by lawyer that mom and sis couldnt get status straight in US once PD is current, i also used age out calculator and i havent aged out... we were given the AOS fee info to pay once PD is current....my mom and sis can get straightened out then do interview in US or home country? info im getting is a bit conflicting help!!!!

Hi. I'm new in this forum. I'm in F3 with PD Sept 2002. Is there anyone with this PD and already received DS from NVC? Doesn't NVC act on a request if your case is not yet due for processing? I requested for alternate chargeability last 2009 thru a lawyer. NVC replied that my case is not yet due for processing and did not do our request.

I think you are from Philipines and as on visa bulletin they are working on 01MAY93 F3 for Philipines. So if you are from Philipines you have to wait more than others for DS230 forms.

No I am not from Philipines I am from India. you are the beneficery or your wife is beneficery please explain this. If you are the beneficery then you cannot change chargeability because you are by birth Phils.

my friend (F3) Pd :01 dec 2001 got her interview letter for 5th of august ,a good news for F3 , but she has a 40 days babygirl,
anybody knows what happend to her interview if she tell them that she has a new born baby?

@subina: I am the principal applicant.
@sarah: Your friend should inform NVC about the new born baby so she/he can be included in the F3 petition. My brother also had the same case and the baby was able to migrate with the family.

Why you said for August vb is Dec 1 , 2001. It should be 01-Jan-2002 Because many people whom PDs are in December 2001 got the interview dates.
