Hi all,
Its been 2 weeks now since we have been here in NY.Kids are enrolled in school.They like it,and have a few friends already.
We havent got our green card or social security card yet. Does anyone know how long it takes to get it? Meanwhile we are preparing resumes,and looking
for job oppurtunities. Hope everyone is doing well.

Got the greencard around Oct 8th.Social sec cards never came.
So we went to the Social security office and applied for it. They dont send all the Social security cards together for members of the same family,becoz they dont wants the #'s to look alike. We got cards for 2 members in the family so far.Hope you get urs soon.

congrats can u tell me from the time u came here how long u take to get green card and social will reall appreciate it thanks btw u had to go and applied for your socail security ?

Hello to all on this post.
Can anyone tell me the time frame after submission of the DS-230 with all documentation.
I read on the state dept site 30-60 days. But what has been your experience

There is a Guy from Vietnam got Choice of agnent/DS3032.
His PD is 21-10-2002. So dont worry F3 is moving. According to my infomrtaion within November or December all people who have 2002 PDS will got DS3032.

Hi subina. Thanks for the info. The PD of the Vietnamese is Oct 21, 2002 and he already received DS3032? So he is ahead of us Sept 2002. What's your prediction for Dec 2010 VB ?

Thanks to all. Now I have questions and will appreciate your help.
1. I've got my 3032 by e-mail. I've filed it out, scanned and sent it to my mom who is petitioner.
Question: Will NVC accept my scanned signature or not?

2. After AOS is paid should we both wait for response from them or maybe we can download i-186 & ds-230 from Internet without their approval?

3. Should the petitioner (my mom) fill out two i-186 forms, i.e. for me and for my husband?

Even though I am a F-4 AOS category I have always followed this thread. I had my interview this morning and I was approved for a GC.
