on 30th nov i got a letter from embassy with my passport.... in which they mentioned i have to provide my employment history till now....
and have to submit my passport along with 221g form to vfs office.

Still disappointing... no big jump anywhere it sight

Don't expect a big Jump. It will be moving very slowly and painfully.

846,000 people are waiting for visa as of Nov 2011 under F3.
Only ~24,000 Visa' s are issued each year. 25+ years on average for a person
who is last one on the queue.

15-20+ years wait time for low demad countries.
25-30+ years wait time for High demand countries such as India, Mexico, Vietnam, philliphines.

Surely some visa applicant would become ineligible during this wait period and wait time will shrink. But expect for long wait.

The waiting list lacks the most important information which is the number of waiting applicants per category/year, e.g. # F3 with PD 2001, PD 2002, etc. so we can more or less see how many more applicants are before us.
