All these things will be brought to the interview by us. I've heard of NVC not asking for new police records but at the embassy the interviewer still wanted a fresh set of records. So, if you have submitted anything that expires, redo it, also any documents that you submitted (if you have a copy) bring it to the interview too because you just never know what NVC left out of your case file when they were sending it to the US embassy in you country.

You can't edit the PD list because it's in my signature. If you want to get you own signature just Sign In, head to Settings (next to the Log Out option) then you'll find the Edit Signature option. You can add your PD, territory & category to your signature so that this info you provided will be seen every time you post a comment.

Hello everyone..im not familiar with visa bulletin, so how will you know if your on current? like me my PD is Nov 2006..how many years will i still have to wait? i got my first mail i think it was 2010..and now no mail from them..any advice..im losing hope..

You have to check this site: "http://www.travel.state.gov/visa/bulletin/bulletin_1360.html" on the 10th of each month. For F3, current PD is June 1, 2002. So with your PD of Nov 2006 it will take +- 4.5 years for your PD to be current. So just sit tight... go on with your life and forget about it for a while.

Good news! Interview letters have started arriving... earlier than expected. For F3 someone with PD 6/11/2002 already received I/L. Any others ?

Anything new ? Seems F3 will be June 22,2002 for Jan 2013 VB.

Was issued a 221(g) today for discrepancies in 2 birth certificates. So will have to do DNA testing. Going to start the process tomorrow. It's expected to take 6-8 weeks (could be longer because it's Christmas time). A part from that everything's okay so far.

That's not so bad... just another waiting time. Whose BC have discrepancies ? Who will be undergoing DNA testing ? Good luck. Keep us posted.

Problems: The beneficiary had the incorrect middle name of the petitioner on their birth certificate and the derivative had the beneficiary's name added to their birth certificate at 5 yrs old.

Next step: The embassy wants to establish the claimed relationship between the petitioner, beneficiary and derivative.

Reason: They want make sure the petitioner and beneficiary are mother and son and that the beneficiary and the derivative are father and daughter.


Oh, I know of 2 other people with PD June 4 &7 that haven't received their I/L. Don't know what the problem is with them.

His PD is not current yet, the cut-off date is June 22, 2002. Hopefully next month. Only visa applicants who have a priority date EARLIER than the cut-off date may get interview letter.
