look into case of KLAST.
same problem but KLAST got Visa on humanitarian ground.

My brother in law has stopped to make an effort since hiring lawyer could be very expensive. Luckyly, we arrived 5 days in US before my parent in law passed away.

Congratulations Kamran Khan. Its been a rather long wait.

Hey Frank, thank God you got in before your in-law passed away. My condolences to your family.

As for me, its been very awkward but thankfully, we've almost resolved all the challenges. While the rest of us were able to renew our passports at our embassy in London by May 22, my wife was only just successful last Thursday, in concluding her renewal processing. Hopefully, we should receive hers by next week Monday or Tuesday.

However, since her initial passport had not yet expired and to avoid wasting further time, we sent all our supporting and civil documents towards last month ending and have received confirmation that it arrived on the 1st of this month. Hopefully, we expect to be informed of our interview date by month end.

So what's been happening to everyone? Oct2003, Butter, Dec08 and all, whats been happening to you guys. Forum's been quite inactive except the new members just joining in.

My case is also in AP, because the newer I-864 didn't arrive to embassy yet, the mail service tracking is showing that arrived here in Brazil at july 10, so the delivery could occur at any moment, no more than 2-3 days I think.

Someone asked before what is AP, is Administrative Processing: "Some visa applications require further administrative processing, which takes additional time after the visa applicant’s interview by a consular officer."
