Staying until Number Comes

Further to access through internet iam pleased to know about you and will appreciate if you agree to proceed with my case .
Iam 38 yrs of age , Indian origin , with wife and two kids (12 yrs & 8 yrs ) just came to USA on B1/B2 visa with I-94 expiry date : 7/7/09. I have mother & two sisters here in USA and all are USA citizens. Now could you please clear my queries before we move on :

1) What could happen If I just don’t leave USA and start living with my mother ?

2) I understand with the terms that iam not consider to be an immediate relative of my mother so the visa number is not available straightway for me. So I guess I should go for filing the family petition instead of adjustment of status . But my question is : By the time I will get visa number say after 3-4 yrs my I-94 status would have been expired , so how immigration look this kind of matter ? At that time ,Will they raise the question against me or dismiss my family petition because I lived here in USA for such a long period after the expiry of I-94 ?

3) Can my kids get admission in the school while on B1/B2 visa ?

4) Can I buy or rent property during the waiting period of visa number ?

1. You will be staying illegally.

2. Yes, they would look at. They would ask you to go to get your immigrant visa from India and once you leave the US, you will be banned for 10 years from entering the US. If you don't leave the US, they will deport you anyway.

4. You can't really wait in the US for visa number to be available. You will be illegal.
