Hello,
My wife (US citizen) and I got married while I was in the US on a student visa. We lived together for 2 months but then I had to go back to my home country because my mom was sick. My wife filed I-130 while I was in the US and I contacted the US consulate to ask if I they accept direct consular filing and they said that they do.
So, will the national visa center forward my I-130 receit directly to the embassy or should I contact them?
