Marriage certificate for parents

Hi,

I am applying for GC for my parents. I have applied my birth certificate and their marriage invitation as proof of family relation. Their marriage was never registered in 1970s. Is that enough.

Take affidavit from elders/relatives that they attended the marriage and witnessed the ceremony of XYZ. You can also take a letter from the civic body for a non-availability certificate. Google for it or the format.
