My wife's immigrant visa / greencard application is "pending administrative processing" since her interview with the Israeli Consulate in Jerusalem on July 24. Does anybody know how I can get the consulate to expedite this processing? See below for more details.
My wife and I filed for her greencard / immigrant visa in Jerusalem in July. She had her interview on July 24. The consulate requested some additional documents from us at that time, and we supplied them the following day.
At the time of her interview, the consulate assured her that the processing would only take 2-3 more weeks, but we haven't seen any progress. The only response we get to our inquiries is that her application is pending administrative processing, and that we will be notified when it is complete.
My wife is six months pregnant, and we need to make sure she gets her immigrant visa before she will be restricted from flying.
