Good Morning:

I am in the process of applying for my citizenship, but before I do so, I have a question.

My mother was granted her citizenship before I turned 18 but she never filed the paper work for me to obtain mine. Is it too late for me to file the paper work or would I have to do the entire process from scratch? I am now 25 turning 26 in a little over a month.

What matters is 14 years old kid and not 18 years old.

You will have to apply on your own.
