  • Sponsership documents needed for Immigrat Visa

    Please help me...Thanks in advance.

My uncle needs to sponser his 4 familes (2 sons and 2 daughters).

To my understanding he will need following papers:
    - I 134
    - Employment letter
    - Bank Balance letter with Bank Statements
    - I-864 (Affidavit of Support)
    - Tax returns
    - Pay stubs

    Questions:
    - Am I missing any documents?
    - Since he needs to sponser lot os people, Can someone co-sponser? He does not have enough imcome for I-864.

If these information is already on this webwite, please respond with link.

    Thanks

    Hi there,

Has your relative begun the process? Has he filed an I-130 to start the process. Other docs you list are subsequent to filing an I-130. This has to be filed and he has to submit proof of familial relationships.

Begin there, then wait for receipt and approval of the the petitions.

Is your uncle a GC holder or a USC? The answer to this question will determine timeline for approval and completion .

Hope this is a start for your relative to move on.

      My uncle is a USC.

He has filed I-130 long back.

Currently his family is advised to deposit visa fees.

So they are expecting that they will be called for a Greencard.

      Thanks

        JPdesi,
Co-sponsers: that should be doable (okay, acceptable), but that co-sponser has to provide documentary proof as well.
