Change in citizenship

Hi can someone please help me with below query:

I have applied for family based US green card and i am nearly through the process. In the meanwhile I have become a citizen of the UK as my aim is to keep dual citizenship of UK and US. Would this affect my application for green card? Do i need to let USCIS know about the change in my status?

Please note - when application was originally applied I was a citizen of India.
