Moms Citizenship

Hello,
My mom a LPR would be qualified for citizenship next year.But the problem now is my mom had gone to india to take care of my dad who was sick.She did have her advance parole taken care of before she left.I did read in the naturalization guide something as continuous presence required.
Her going to my native country due to a valid reason cause her to not be qualified for Citizenship next year?
Is their anyway we can solve this problem?How can she apply for citizenship next year?
Any suggestions/ideas would be greatly appreciated
