Sir,
I am a US citizen and would like to apply for Green Card for my Mom who is in the US on B2 visitor visa. I was working as a consultant. Unexpectedly last week my project assignment got over and I filed for unemployment benefit.
1) Since I am the sponsor for my Mom, does my unemployment status adversely affect her chance of getting Green Card approval?
2) If yes, then is it better to apply for GC after I get another job?
3) Being retired, my mom earns monthly pension in her home country. Do I have to mention this in form I-864 and provide form I-864A? (She does not have spouse or dependents.)
Your reply is appreciated.
Thank You
