This is a thread started to track people who sent their family-based green card applications and to check the progress.

Here is my case so far:
My status is H1 and married to a US citizen.

Sent the following on August 28th 2009:
I-130,I-485,I-765 and other supporting documents

In 3 weeks, I received the notice of action and appointment for biometrics

Oct2nd - biometrics completed

Oct3rd - USCIS site said my card is ordered and it will be in the mail.

Oct 12th - received EAD card in the mail

Oct 13th - received notice for interview on Nov 9th in the mail.

Marriage based ,,,USC 3 years and have a child together
I sent my i-130, i-485, i-765, i-131 on july 8 2009
received receipt 5 days later and ead card on august 21 2009
never receive the i-131 document
and last update was august 21 2009 for 485, 130 and 131
and also have not received an interview letter.
i stay in Miramar FL maybe that is why taking so long

CASE UPDATE:
I-131 still pending, i called this morning spoke to an IO she told me to wait until nov 8 2009 and she also said that they transfer my case to the local office,, never receive any email or notice,,, last update was the 21 of aug.

Case update:
just received my interview notice today for nov 18 and my last update was aug 21 and I-131 still pending.

I just had my interview today.
This is how it went:

My wife and me met with an official first in his office and later he asked me to wait outside and my wife was asked a few questions. And then after 20 minutes, I was called in.
1. Where have I been living after my wedding?
2. Has my wife ever left <current city> back to <her city> ?
3. When and How did I meet my wife?
4. When was my first date?
5. When was the wedding and when was the engagement(we had a formal engagement)?
6. if there are any other documents other than lease,electric bill and bank statements available to prove the marriage is real?
7. When did I first arrive to the US?
8. When was my last entry to the US?
9. Was the current H1 ever renewed?
10. Ask the Yes/no questions..like have you commited a crime..
11. Have you had a arrest record in your home country?
To my wife since she lived in a another state he asked the same questions as above and also asked about why the address on her drivers license wasnt changed to the current-address? But her passport had the same address as where we live...not sure why the guy was too picky on my wife address on the drivers license even though she showed her US passport which has the current address. The I-94 was taken and then he said my case is approved and stamped in my passport saying this is a green-card and lets me work and also travel outside and that my green-card will be issued within 180 days and lately people have been getting it pretty quick like in 10 days.
Overall the official was tough at the start when we met him, but he seemed fine later on and was doing his job I guess. He was fine at the end and said that I am now a permanent resident married to a US Citizen.
Anyway this is my experience and thanks to my Saviour Jesus Christ and the experts here at immihelp.

Thank you. Hope all goes well with your mom. Just to add to my post, this interview was held at Tampa and we were called the exact time mentioned on our appointment letter.
