Question on filling I-485 form. Please help!

Sir,

I need help on filling up form I-485 (Adjust Status) to file GC for my mother who is in US now on visitor visa.

What should I choose regarding question Part 2 'Application Type' "I am applying for an adjustment to permanent resident status because:"

This part has many options 'a' thru' 'j'. But none seems to be apt that says child applying for parent! Please advise. (If you need all the options, I can type it in.)

You will select "A" . The form is not for you, its for your mother. So she is an immiediate relative applying for benefits. Good luck.

hey Thegooddoer in your first post you already filed for your mom and had question regarding emergency travel document, now you have a question about file I-485 for your mom how many mom do u have,,, this Forum is here to help everyone,,,have u filed or haven't filed yet.
