If I file the I-130 and Aos together while my parents are here on a 6months visa visitor will the appointment come within that time or are they allowed to stay legally in the usa past 6 months if their appointment comes after 6 months ? (I just want to be on the right side of the law)

mariejm are you sure because I read on another forum that if a person comes on a visitors visa and then does aos then that would be intent to immigrate and would be problematic when they have their appointment for the greencard?Comment
