My Parents had their Visa Interview at the Delhi Embassy on 26th Oct 2009. After the interview they handed over their passports to the interviewer for Visa Stamping.
It is mentioned on the Delhi Embassy website that it should take upto seven business days after the interview for delivery of the Passport along with sealed documents. We have not yet received our passports or the sealed documents. We have also not received any communication from the Delhi Embassy about the status of our application.
Does anyone have any idea how long it might take to get back the passports. We did try to call up the embassy but they said it is under administrative processing. Please post your comments if you have any ideas about this delay.
