    Married to US citizen but have TN

    Hi, I'm a Canadian citizen living and working in the US on a TN-1 visa, and have been here for almost 3 years. I recently married a US citizen (7 months ago) and am thinking about applying for GC. My question is, does my husband have to show proof that he can financially support me even though I already have a job?

    Your husband needs to be the financial sponsor regardless of his income. You can certainly use your income in the I-864 if his don’t meet the federal poverty guideline.
