Hi,

If my I-130 gets approved while I am inside USA on a Student/Visit visa, can I apply for Adjust of Status Form I-485?

Or do I still have to wait 10 years for visa number to be available.

Hi Memon,
I130 approval is the first step.Now you will have to look in the visa bulletin issued 15th of every month and see where u stand in the visa number queue at the National Visa centre .
Make sure u look at the right category like f1,f2a,feb,f3,f4 etc...This is the link of the latest visa bulletin
