I-130 time

Ok, so my wife and I have been married for 3 months now. We lived in CO for a month after we got married and then, I left to my home country to do the consular processing.

We just filed I-130 with the appropriate fee and initial evidence. I was wondering if anyone can tell me from experience how long it usually takes for that form to get approved/denied?

it depends upon whether the person who is sponsoring visa is citizen or PR. Refer to the priority dates of I-130 to get approximate processing times.

For US citizen petitioning for a spouse, there are no priority dates. It comes under Immediate Relative category and there are not cut-off dates or waiting.
