Applied I-130 on GC but now I've become citizen...

I applied for I-130 for my husband's green card 1.5 months ago, at that time I was on Green card. No other forms were filed. The current status of the application is "pending". I became US citizen this week.
On USCIS website one one of the pdfs i found below...

If you become a U.S. citizen and your relative’s petition has
not yet been approved by USCIS, you will need to notify the
Service Center where you filed your relative’s visa petition that
you are now a U.S. citizen. You should send the notification to
the Service Center address located on the receipt notice you
received when you filed your Form I-130 petition. Please include
a letter with information regarding your relative, a copy of your
Naturalization Certificate, and a copy of the petition receipt
notice.

1) Will just notifying the service center will upgrade my application also?
2) When other forms such as I-485 should be filed?

My wife is also in the same track, soon she will become USC. Then she will apply for I130

Please pout your experience on this thread.

As per USCIS you can update your staus by calling them on the toll free specified
