Marrying an US Citizen

Hi,

I am currently a valid H1B holder and I will be marrying an US citizen. The marriage is going to be outside US.

I presume that I can entry the country in my H1B visa when we come back. Do we have to register our marriage in this country once we are back or can we still use the same marriage certificate of the foreign country when i apply for Family based Green card?

1. Yes, you can enter back on the H1B visa after you get married.
2. You can use your foreign marriage certificate, provided you actually got married over there.
