Advice for US Citizen marrying Indian Citizen

I am a US Citizen planning to marry someone from India. What is the best and fast way to bring my wife to US? Does anyone know any attorney who has experience in this area and how much would they charge?

Congratulations on the marriage. It is important to decide whether you want to marry your fiance here in the United States or in India. If you marry her in India, then you can file for a marriage/spousal immigrant visa. Currently the entire process takes anywhere between 6-9 months. If you want marry your fiancee in the United States then you could file for a K-1 fiance visa. She can come to America and the two of you can get married here and she can file for an adjustment of status. There are lots of things you should consider before applying for a visa. Immigration attorneys vary in what they charge but generally the legal fees range from $1500 to $2000.
