I am the petitioner, applying GC for my wife, The interview was on Jan 5th, 2010 in LA, CA. IO starting from my income & financial questions, which turns out that she did not have our RFE joint-sponsor I-864 file on hand, then I gave her my own copy.
The rest of the questions went well, she didnt ask my wife too many questions, after 20 minutes interview she gave us a letter before we left, saying
"An adjudicative review of your case is needed. No additional information is required from you at this time", its in 30days period.
Dont know whats wrong with the interview?? Anyone has the same letter?
But on the same day, Jan 5th, when i check on USCIS's web and found out EAD was approved. "On January 5, 2010, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you...", then pop out another update on Jan 8th, same message from USCIS.
Is it normal to get EAD approved right after initial interview? Anyone has same story??
