My daughter is 16 years old and we filed for a i-130 for her about 1 years and 6 months ago. We have gotten everything approved and she should have her interview in about 4 to 6 weeks. She had a baby about 4 months ago. She is not married. What should we do?
I was told by one lawyer that she should just take the baby to the interview with the birth records and they will just add the baby to her i-130.
I was told by another lawyer to say nothing at the interview and get the visa then the green card and then she can go back to Thailand and file for her new child. Which sounds like another year plus wait fo her and the child. Because they might hold up or deny her visa because of the new baby.
