starting our green card app

i am married happly ever after to a u.s citizen since sep 29 09 we are inlove and living happly ever after althought we do have some difficulties on applying for our green card process
the problme we are having is that she is currently unemployed and having a bad credit and some debts which make us difficult on having a registered apartment on both of our names how can we even start the process if we dont have a place to live together we do have a sponsor which is a friend of we currently living at a friends house but nothing offical
how can we handle this situation ?

It would be very difficult for her to sponsor you now, because she can't show the sufficient financial means to support you. It may be possible if she finds some other co-sponsor.
