Good morning

I am an Italian Citizen living in the U.S. with a spouse VISA. My husband is a U.S. Citizen. We have lived here together for the last 10 years. We want to bring here my sister and her husband. I read your website but was still confused on what form to send where. My husband called Immigration at Homeland Security and was told that since his brother and sister in law aren't blood relatives, he could not sponsor them, and that since I am not a Citizen, but a legal alien, I could not sponsor them either. Is this correct? Please advise. Thank you for your time

You will have to first become US citizen, before you can sponsor your sister and family. Your husband can't sponsor her.

Once you are US citizen, you can file her green card under F4 category. And it takes around 12 years for them to come to the US after that.
