urgent!! birth certificate issue for greencard

I am a US citizen and want to file Greencard for my parents. My birth certificate does not have my mother's name. Do I have to apply a new birth certificate from Indian consulate in US.
For a new birth certificae the requirement is greencard/visa. Will a copy of nauralization certificate work??

i have read the section of birth certificate

my old birth certificate that i had given for applying green card had
only my fathers name
now iam a US citizen and applying for green card of both my parents
greencard should i apply for a new birth certificate from consulate??


also the birth certificate condition asks for green card/visa ..which i dont have currently.so will nauralization certificate work instead of the green card/visa..

please suggest as i cant find any other help relating this issue.

If you had really read the information in our birth certificate section, you would know that the birth certificate issued by consulate is NOT accepted. Very clearly mentioned there.

Therefore, do yourself a favor, and read everything given over there. There is no better description anyone here can provide than what is already given there, which is very comprehensive and complete.
