HELP...I NEED SOME REAL GOOD ADVISE...
We went to my GC interview on Nov-30th/2009...Marriage bases GC.
I had my AP on hand at the time and after the interview the officer told us that everything was fine for an approval...
Well...I had my fingerprint schedule back in Sept-29th/2009...Guess what my attorney never gave me the appointment letter...He said that he never got it...It’s funny because he never said anything about fingerprint appointment letter for my EAD/GC until I asked...So I went for fingerprinting on Feb-5th/2009...
My problem is that I have very little time to get my EAD/GC card in the mail...I have a job offer to start March 1st/2010.
I have checked the status of my EAD card over USCIS web site and they ordered production of the card on Feb-5th/2010.
My question is:
Is there any thing that I can do to speed up my EAD or can I go to the USCIS office and ask for a stamp in my passport? BTW Do they still stamp passports with CG pending AOS?
I can take the job offer letter to the USCIS office...Do you think it will help?
I asked my attorney and he said if I want I can go in front of a immigration court judge, but that will cost me thousands and its not guaranteed...
My wife is 7 months pregnant and I need this particular job really bad...
Please, any ideas will be appreciated...
