Dear Sir/Madam

I'm a German Citizen currently living on a work based Permanent Residency in New Zealand. I've been living with my partner for the last 3 years here in Christchurch, New Zealand.

We are not married. My partner has dual Citizenship, New Zealand and US Citizenship. I have family living in Los Angeles, CA. An aunt and uncle and my 2 cousins. Who have also US Citizenship. And have been living there for over 10 years.

We would like to move to the US early to mid next year and live there.
My question is, what do I have to apply for to be able to move and live in the United States. What kind of "visa" can I get.

If you have any tips or answers for me I would much appreciate that.

I have read the family based immigration and know now that I can not get a visa trough my cousins.

My partner and I are not married but in a longterm relationship (5 years). Is it possible to get a visa trough him even tough we aren't married?
