Am I illegaly here?

I came in usa with my child in july 2009 b1b2visa, they wrote on our I-94 " no extension of stay", " no adjustment of status"', "no change of status" and alowed us to stay 5 weeks. me and my boyfriend(us citizen) been really sad. we talk with a lowyer, he said if we get maried, nobody cant "tuch" us. We got maried one week before I-94 expired. Sence than my husband, been the only one who work, save money for green card, register my child in school, living as a familly. because i dont have a ssn, i'm not at the rent lease, he broth a car for me on his name, i cant open a bank account, cant register in to a school, etc. I need to do all this for myself, for us and for proving later to the emmigration the fact we talk about leaving as a family here. Here are my questions:
1. are we ( me and my child) illegaly here?
2. can I apply for a ssn card, "not valid for work" one?
3. they will send us back in our country to weiting for adjustment of status?

1. You and your child is out of status. Illegal.
2. No. Not right now. You can apply for one when you file for I-130, and I-485, I-765 concurrently, and get your EAD Card (Employment Authorization Card).
3. No, unless there is a removal order for you before the adjustment of status.
